This week’s Edit theme is ‘California Soul’.

I work mostly from home and have been thinking about what makes me feel good in the space I spend most of my days in - sunshine, natural materials, greenery, texture and comfort.

I took inspiration from the warmth, optimism and easygoing spirit of the California coast, then reimagined it through a Scottish lens to create an uplifting yet calm, nurturing look and feel.

Today’s weather started off very Californian and has now turned distinctly Scottish. So I’m swapping a walk for a little bit of work - I’m writing an interview and feature for Scottish Field magazine this week, so I'm going to immerse myself in that while the rain patters against the window.
