About

I’m Mhairi Wilson, an interior stylist, writer and creative consultant based at The Dairy, my home and studio in Perthshire.

I hold a Diploma in Interior Design from the British Academy of Interior Design and have spent more than twenty years working in lifestyle, travel and hospitality PR, shaping stories, spaces and experiences for brands, hotels, restaurants and destinations.

I also write interiors features for Scottish Field and travel pieces for The Scotsman, bringing an editorial eye to my work and a strong understanding of atmosphere, detail and place.

My own home, The Dairy, has been widely featured in the media and was one of three homes in the Central & Tayside episode of Scotland’s Home of the Year Series 7, an experience that led me to develop my interiors work more formally.

Through The Dairy Studio, I bring together my experience in interiors, styling and storytelling to help clients uncover their personal interior style and create spaces that feel cohesive, characterful and beautifully considered.
